Play today's climb

Privacy policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

Clamber (clamber.me) is run by Zane. You do not need an account or to give us your name or email to play. This page explains what we do collect.

Stored on your device

The game keeps your progress, your best heights and your settings in your browser's local storage, along with a random anonymous identifier. It is not linked to your name. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Daily scores

When you finish a daily climb, we store the result anonymously on our servers: the climb number, your points, the highest landmark you reached, the outcome of each hold and your random identifier. We use this to show how you compare with other players, such as percentiles. Results contain no name and no email.

In rooms, the display name you type is stored with your score for that room so others can see the leaderboard.

Answers you type

Answers that the game does not recognise may be recorded, with the prompt they were for, so that we can improve the answer lists. Please do not type personal information into the answer box.

Analytics

We use two tools to understand how the site is used:

We do not use this data to identify you, and we do not sell it.

Advertising

The site does not show ads yet. If we add them, this page will be updated first and will explain what the ad provider collects and how to opt out.

Children

Clamber is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can clear local storage at any time to remove your progress and identifier from your device. To ask us to delete the anonymous results linked to your identifier, or for any privacy question, email [email protected] and include the identifier if you can find it. We will do what we can.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will change too. See also the terms of use.
